Doug Montgomery joined Evertree Insurance in May 2014 after a successful 13-year career as an American Family Insurance Agent in Longmont, CO. Montgomery was recognized as a Distinguished Insurance Agent by JD Power for nine consecutive years.

Montgomery is a native of Boulder, CO, and has spent his entire life in and around Boulder County. Montgomery earned a BS in criminal justice/political science from Metropolitan State University. While at Metro State, he starred on the Roadrunners baseball team. Montgomery was inducted into the Metro State Athletics Hall of Fame in 1998.

Prior to entering the insurance industry, Montgomery served as assistant athletic director for sports information/special projects at Regis University (1993-98), assistant sports information director at Metro State (1989-93), and media relations director for the Denver Zephyrs Baseball Club (1987-88).

Montgomery currently resides in Longmont with his wife, Cindy, and their two children (Abbie and Blake). The couple enjoys traveling, high school, and college sports, and are active members at Rocky Mountain Christian Church in Niwot.
